El descubrimiento de un film militante sobre la causa palestina en Cuba dispara una exploración de las historias paralelas entre la resistencia palestina y la guerrilla latinoamericana. Usando material filmado en los frentes de combate en Palestina y Colombia desde el comienzo de la “Guerra contra el Terror” en 2001 hasta hoy, el film combina material de archivo inédito de los años '70 con entrevistas exclusivas a líderes históricos de la resistencia palestina y el registro directo de la guerra hoy.

Art film on the armed resistance in Palestine and Latin America. The discovery of an activist film on the Palestinian cause in Cuba triggers an exploration of the parallel stories between the Palestinian resistance and the Latin American guerrilla. With images shot in the combat fronts in Palestine and Colombia from the beginning of the “War against Terror” in 2001 until today, the film combines unpublished archive footage from the 1970s with exclusive interviews to historical leaders of the Palestinian resistance and direct recordings of the war today.

Rodrigo Vázquez nació en Buenos Aires en 1969. Tras formarse en la Universidad del Cine y en la ENERC, viaja al Reino Unido donde produce dos cortometrajes y trabaja para BBC World. Ha participado como productor, director y camarógrafo filmando zonas en guerra en América Central y Medio Oriente. Su documental Condor: Axis of Evil se estrenó en el Festival de Cannes y obtuvo nominaciones en festivales alrededor del mundo. En 2005 fundó Bethnal Films, productora de cine independiente con la que produjo La apertura y Looking for the Revolution.

Rodrigo Vasquez was born in Argentina in 1969. After studying at the Universidad del Cine and the ENERC, he travelled to the United Kingdom where he produced two short films and worked for BBC World. He has worked as a producer, director and cameraman shooting war zones in Central America and in the Middle East. His documentary Condor: Axis of Evil was released at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated in several festivals all around the world.In 2005, he found Bethnal Films, an independent cinema production company he has produced both La Apertura and Looking for the Revolution with.
