Un cuento que descubrimos a través de la voz de un narrador invisible y los ojos de una niña curiosa y sensible. Una historia de monstruos, de espejos, que cuestiona la imagen que nos hacemos de los demás y de nosotros mismos. This short film directed by Firas Khoury, from Palestine, is a combination between an intimate documentary and an animated picture. A tale that is unveiled through an unknown narrator’s voice and through the eyes of a curious and sensitive girl. A story about monsters and mirrors, which questions how we perceive others and how we see ourselves. A story that is endlessly passed down from generation to generation. ‘Tell me the story about the monster, Grandpa.’

Firas Khoury es un director y guionista palestino de 35 años, licenciado en Cine. Su filmografía incluye diversos cortos. Además de trabajar como director, Khoury asumió el compromiso de difundir el cine palestino y capacitar a jóvenes. También enseñó Expresión Cinematográfica en la escuela de cine de The Freedom Theatre, dentro del campo de refugiados en Yenín, y en la University of Nazareth y de Haifa Almashgal, así como también en Túnez. Es miembro fundador del Group Falastinema, que realiza talleres de cine y proyecta películas en Palestina.

Firas Khoury is a 35 year-old Palestinian screenwriter and director. He graduated with a BA in Cinema. Khoury has several short films to his credit. Alongside his directorial activity, he is committed to disseminating Palestinian films and training young people. He has also taught cinematic expression at the School of Cinema of the Freedom Theatre in the Jenin refugee camp and the University of Nazareth and Haifa Almashgal but also in Tunisia. Khoury is a founding member of Group Falastinema, which develops film workshops and presents screenings throughout Palestine.
