Presenta un enfoque innovador y muestra testimonios de brasileños convertidos al Islam y afinidades y tangencias entre el Islam y el hip hop practicado por las comunidades en las afueras de las grandes ciudades de Brasil.
Luiz Carlos Lucena
El premiado cineasta y productor palestino, Ihab Jadallah, completó sus Estudios en Comunicación Audiovisual en 2004 en la Universidad CEU San pablo en Valencia, España, luego de lo cual recibió una beca de tres años para estudiar cinematografía en el Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos de Catalunya en Barcelona. Ha escrito, dirigido y producido diversos cortos y documentales sumamente aclamados, entre los cuales se encuentran la guerrillera The Shooter, en 2007 y Looking For Zak, en 2009. El thriller The Flower Seller, del 2010, filmado en la Ribera Occidental, fue seleccionado para presentarse en competencia en el Festival de Cine Internacional de Clermont Ferrand y en el Festival de Cine de Abu Dhabi. Actualmente trabaja en el largometraje Dead Sea, cuyo guión fue elegido por el Binger Film Lab, fue galardonado por el Fondo de Desarrollo de Guión de Amiens (2009) y obtuvo 2 Premios para Desarrollo del Torino Film Lab (200) y el Premio EP2C. (European Post Production Connection).
Award-winning Palestinian filmmaker and producer Ihab Jadallah completed his studies in Audio Visual Communication at CEU San Pablo, in Valencia, Spain in 2004, after which he received a three-year scholarship to study filmmaking at the Center for Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia in Barcelona. He has written, directed, and produced several highly acclaimed short films and documentaries, including the guerilla-style The Shooter 2007 and Looking for Zak 2009. The Flower Seller 2010 a thriller set in the West Bank, was selected for competition at the Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, He is currently working on Dead Sea, a full-length feature film. The script for Dead Sea was selected for the Binger Film Lab and won the Amiens Screenplay Development Fund Award (2009) and the 2 Awards for Development at the Torino Film Lab (2009) as well as the EP2C award.
