LIMPLY ONE SATURDAY MORNING 

Una noche en Algeria, una muchacha llamada Myassa es atacada por un violador que fracasa en el intento. Luego vuelve a su casa, donde una vez más el sistema viejo de tuberías de agua falla y le impide ducharse. A la mañana siguiente, Myassa se propone dos objetivos: reportar el ataque de la noche previa a la policía y encontrar un plomero. Al intentar cumplirlos se le presentarán varias dificultades previas a otro encuentro final cara a cara con el violador...

"One evening in Argel, Myassa, a young woman, is attacked by a failing rapist. She gets back to her home and once more the aged plumbing fails and she cannot take a shower. The next morning, Myassa has two goals, reporting the assault to the police and finding a plumber. She will have to go through a good number of dificulties in her attempt to achieve both, before in the end she finds herself face to face with her rapist..

Sofia Djama
Nació en Orán, Argelia, el 10 de febrero de 1979. Creció en Bugía y en el año 2000, luego de pasar dos años en el Departamento de Literatura de la Universidad de Bugía, se trasladó a Argel y comenzó a escribir un conjunto de cuentos cortos que describen la vida en la capital. En el 2011 filmó en Argel la adaptación para cine de su cuento“Mollement un samedi matin/Limply, one saturday morning” "Flácido, un sábado a la mañana". Hoy en día, dedica su tiempo a escribir y dirigir obras de ficción y a otros proyectos literarios.

Born in Oran (Algeria) on the 10th of February 1979. Raised in Bejaia, after two years at the Department of Literature of the University of Bejaia, in 2000 she moves to Algiers and she starts to write a collection of short stories depicting the life in the capital. In 2011 she shoots in Algier the adaptation to the cinema of her short story “Mollement un samedi matin/Limply one saturday morning”, today she dedicates herself to writing and directing fictions and to literary projects.
